Moai, a 22 m high stone statue was carved in one piece of volcanic rock, in an area of the crater Rano Raraku. 15 people was carved statue about 1 year. The work was difficult, although the islanders were masters of stone carving. When Moai was finished, they have to move Moai to a specific location.
